Hi.
I downloaded and installed SCP Toolkit in hopes of making my PS3 controller work with Windows 10. Everything went fine and the controller was recognized.
Except that now neither my Bluetooth Mouse nor the Wireless Adapter are recognized - whenever I plug them in I get the message that the Dual Shock 3 controller has been plugged in.
I looked up the issue online thinking it would be a fairly simple thing to solve and ended up on this page. Then I read this comment:
In order to have a bluetooth mouse still work, you must disconnect the bluetooth dongle before installing the controller drivers. Then you can plug it back in after the installation finishes and it will work. That is what I have to do in order to not lose my mouse. You have to do the same thing before starting the service as well. This could easily be solved by allowing the drivers to be installed without bluetooth support. As of the latest version, the bluetooth driver is still installed even if you uncheck it.
...which is freaking me out...
I would be truly appreciative of anyone who can help me with this issue. Is there a way for me not to lose my mouse and wireless adapter?
I'm fairly inexperienced with this so a ELI5-like explanation would be really welcome.
